NO Kings Day Protests


When: Saturday, Mar. 28, 2026, 10:30AM - 12:30 PM
Where: War Memorial Plaza (behind Baltimore City Hall)

Friends – If you are looking for ways to participate in the NO Kings Day protests on Saturday March 28, there are two events you may wish to join.

The Baltimore City No Kings Day Rally is from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm at the War Memorial plaza (behind Baltimore City Hall).  I will be performing with the Baltimore Rapid Response Chorus and my good friend Drum Dr. Dot!  Speakers include MD Comptroller Brooke Lierman, City Councilman Rev Mark Parker, Author and Peace Activist Ellen Barfield, and others.  AWE will share a heartfelt letter from one of their immigrant clients.  Register so we know you are coming:  https://indivisible.org/events/no-kings-baltimore-city/  There will be water, small snacks, medical tent & port a potties available.

At 12:30, we’ll march to the Fallon Federal Building to rally & protest “ICE Out of Baltimore” joining other organizations sponsoring that effort.

THE VOICE OF PROTEST


When: Saturday, Mar. 28, 2026, 6 PM  - 7:30 PM
Where: BIRD IN HAND CAFE AND BOOKSTORE
11 E. 33rd St. Baltimore, MD.


Later, from 6:00 – 7:30 I will join Drum Dr. Dot and several local poets in The Voice of Protest at the Bird in Hand Café in Charles Village. Bird in Hand is connected to The Ivy Bookstore and this is their Charles Village location at 11 East 33rd Street.

Now is the time for people of good faith to band together, to join voices and sing, chant, and march to support the American values of NO KINGS, due process, and humanitarian immigration policies.  That we resist and protest the forces of greed, ignorance, corruption and violence.   All it takes for evil to win is for good people to do nothing.
